Poll Question: What is the Atmosphere like at Celtic Park?

We have opened up our very first Poll Question and we would like our fellow Celtic fans to tell us what they think of the atmosphere at Celtic Park. We all have noticed a significant lack of atmosphere at times throughout the season, that seems to only increase for the games against Rangers and in Europe, but we want to know what you think of it all.

How can you help the Jungle Bhoys?

As a visitor to the website you are very welcome but would you like to get more involved with the Jungle Bhoys efforts to improve the atmosphere at home matches and bring back the colour to Celtic Park? If you are a regular on the Forum you obviously have an interest in these things so why not try it yourself and join up for the coming season to help us grow and therefore the displays and banners will grow too.

The Green Membership of the Jungle Bhoys is now open for Season 2008/2009. £10 for adults and £5 for under 16. All monies raised will be used directly to finance displays and banners to help improve the atmosphere at Celtic Park.

Re-vamped Jungle Bhoys Website

We have decided to have a wee revamp of the Jungle Bhoys website and we hope that everyone of you likes what they see. It makes it easier now for members to comment and contribute to the group, easier navigation and of course gives a bit of structure to the site also. New additions will be gradually creep into the site including our Photo Gallery, our very own Online Shop and of course our own online Song Book.

The summer of 1997 was a pivotal time in the history of Celtic Football Club. A groundbreaking one which formed a new era for the club. On the back of Rangers’ record-equalling ninth title win in a row, radical changes had to be made. The likeable manager Tommy Burns was sacrificed to make way for a new man in charge but the managerial vacancy wasn’t filled until early July when Dutchman Wim Jansen, conqueror of Celtic in the European Cup Final in Milan twenty-seven years earlier, assumed his position as Head Coach alongside General Manager Jock Brown.

Our Legend Series continues. This season we’d like to have a Tommy Burns Commemorative banner made, to surf proudly on the slopes of Celtic Park. Thanks to donations from the Celtic support we’ve managed to have one of the Legends Series banners made every season - Jinky Johnstone, the Lisbon Lions and Brother Walfrid.
